First of all, Richard Dyer's Star Theory:
Dyer has written extensively about the role of stars in film, TV and music.
Irrespective of the medium, stars have some key features in common:
The star image is made up of a range of meanings which are attractive to the target audiences.
Fundamentally, the star image is incoherent, that is incomplete and ‘open’. Dyer says that this is because it is based upon two key paradoxes.
The Hunna
Declan Mckenna
Declan Benedict McKenna (born 24 December 1998) is an English singer, songwriter and musician. He initially gained recognition for winning the Glastonbury Festival's Emerging Talent Competition in 2015. McKenna self-released the song "Brazil", a protest song criticising FIFA and the 2014 FIFA World Cup held in Brazil, as his debut single in December 2014. It gained recognition after its re-release in August 2015. It reached number one onSirius XM Radio's Alt Nation Alt 18 Countdown for 23 January 2016 and held that spot for three weeks. The song also reached number 16 on the U.S.Billboard Alternative Songs chart, number 45 in Japan and number 135 in France. His popularity attracted the attention of many major music labels; he eventually signed to Columbia Records in 2016.

Irrespective of the medium, stars have some key features in common:
- A star is an image, not a real person, that is constructed (as any other aspect of fiction is) out of a range of materials (eg advertising, magazines etc as well as films [music]).
- Stars are commodities produced and consumed on the strength of their meanings.

The Hunna
The Hunna are an English rock band from Hertfordshire in England formed in 2015. The band members are singer/guitarist Ryan Potter, lead guitarist Dan Dorney, bassist Jermaine Angin and drummer Jack Metcalfe. The band takes inspiration from a wide range of sources, including bands like Kings Of Leon, Foals and Queen.
The members of this band are more down to earth and friendly and don't have massive egos. I believe they are music performers as they care more about the music rather than showing themselves off loads.

I believe Declan McKenna is more of a music star as he wears more interesting outfits which get him more noticed, in a way it can be seen as similar to David Bowie as he too wore "different" outfits,
