My chosen genre and artist

Panic! at the Disco is an American rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada, formed in 2004 and featuring the current lineup of vocalist Brendon Urie, accompanied on tour by bassist Dallon Weekes, guitarist Kenneth Harris and drummer Dan Pawlovich. Founded by childhood friends Ryan Ross, Spencer Smith, Brent Wilson and Urie, Panic! at the Disco recorded its first demos while its members were in high school. Shortly after, the band recorded and released its debut studio album, A Fever You Can't Sweat Out (2005). Popularized by the second single, "I Write Sins, Not Tragedies", the album was certified double platinum in the US. In 2006, founding bassist Brent Wilson was fired from the band during an extensive world tour, and subsequently replaced by Jon Walker.
(This the band when they first started ^)
Today, only one member of the band remains as the other band members have gone they're separate ways and gone on to do other things. The lead vocalist Brendon Urie is the last founding member of Panic! At the Disco.
He carries on touring and keeping the band alive with some new band members who are part of the band on temporary basis.
Here are some links to some of there songs and how they differ from the start of the band to today:

(This is one of their most popular songs, as the lead singer says "An oldie but goodie")

Rock music is a genre of popular music that originated as "rock and roll" in the United States in the early 1950s, and developed into a range of different styles in the 1960s and later, particularly in the United Kingdom and the United States. It has its roots in 1940s and 1950s rock and roll, a style which drew heavily on the African-American genres of blues and rhythm and blues, and from country music. Rock music also drew strongly on a number of other genres such as electric blues and folk, and incorporated influences from jazz, classical and other musical styles. Musically, rock has centered on the electric guitar, usually as part of a rock group with electric bass and drums and one or more singers. Typically, rock is song-based music usually with a 4/4 time signature using a verse–chorus form, but the genre has become extremely diverse. Like pop music, lyrics often stress romantic love but also address a wide variety of other themes that are frequently social or political.
Here are some types of rock music: Adult Alternative Rock, American Trad Rock, Arena Rock, Blues-Rock, British Invasion, Death Metal/Black Metal, Glam Rock, Hair Rock, Hard Rock, Metal, Jam Bands, Prog-Rock/Art Rock, Psychedelic, Rock and Roll, Rockabilly, Roots Rock, Singer/Songwriter, Southern Rock and Surf Tex-Rock.
